About the Event
The most exciting thing about marketing is the variety of work environments, research streams and routes to a purposeful and successful career it offers. At times this abundance of choices can feel overwhelming, especially when we consider competing priorities in our personal and professional lives. That's why we've partnered with DCMA co-founder and member of the board of advisors, Joan Ball, for a series of workshops designed to help develop and practice personal and professional wayfinding skills.
Joan Ball is an associate professor of marketing in the Tobin College of Business at St. John's University. Her recently published book, Stop, Ask, Explore: Learn to Navigate Change in Times of Uncertainty (Kogan Page, 2022) is the basis for this first in a series of interactive sessions designed to help you make time to think about your options, priorities and aspirations in a fun and reflective setting. Whether you are in the process of finishing your PhD, getting your sea legs in your first job, or post-tenure thinking about next steps, this wayfinding workshop is for you. Sign up for the session here or reach out to Joan with questions at ballj@stjohns.edu.
