Working Towards a Better Academia

The Designing Your Career in the Marketing Academy initiative is targeted at early career female-identifying marketing academics. This initiative involves creating space for emerging female leaders to orient themselves to the marketing academy, and to benefit from a community of peers joined in the challenges and opportunities they face as they navigate the transitional work required of early career academics.

 

With the support from a one-time conference grant from the Association for Consumer Research, we held the inaugural DCMA event in 2015. In 2016, we began running DCMA using Sheth Foundation funding. Over 100 active DCMA alumni now have a cohort in which they can network, learn, problem-solve, and develop their careers.
